Reyes magos!

Hola!
Les quiero mostrar una ilustración que realicé para el Día de Reyes! Una tradición en la que cada 6 de enero llegan los reyes magos a las casas y dejan regalos para los niños bajo el árbol de Navidad.

I want to show you an illustration that i did for "Day of kings"! This is a tradition where each January 6th Magic Kings  arrive to all houses and leave gifts for the children under the Christmas tree.

Un Changuito y perritos de cumpleaños!

Hola! Primero que nada les deseo un feliz 2011. Espero que sea maravilloso para todos ustedes!

En esta ocasión les quiero mostrar un pequeño proyecto que hice para los cumpleaños de mi novio y mi hermana.
Para él ess un changuito hermoso que le trae un panqué. La verdad es que disfruté mucho haciéndolo!
Para ella un "retrato" en el que aparece con sus hijos, es decir, su perritos! Me encantó el resultado.

Espero que disfruten mucho de este año y les traiga proyectos muy interesantes.

Little monkey and dogs for birthday!


Hi! First of all I want to wish you a happy 2011. Hope you have a wonderful time!

This time I want to show you a small project that I did for mi boyfriend and sister´s birthday.
For him, this little monkey that brings a cupcake for him.  I enjoyed much doing it!
For her a picture where she appears with her children, i mean, their small dogs! I love it!

Cuidemos al planeta!

Hola, después de unas semanas ocupadas, regreso con esta imagen.
Recordemos que con pequeñas acciones realizadas todos los días, podemos cuidar del planeta:
-Apaga la luz si no la utilizas.
-Cuando te laves los dientes o te rasures no dejes el agua corriendo.
-Recicla.
-Planta un árbol.
-Separa la basura en orgánica e inorgánica.
-No uses productos que dañen la capa de ozono.

Estos son sólo algunos tips, ¿conoces algunos otros?

Let´s take care the planet.
Hello!, after a few busy weeks I´m back with this image.
We have to remember, with just a few actions done each day, we can take care the planet:
-Turn of the lights if you are not going to use it.
-When you wash the teeth or shave, do not leave the water running.
-Recycle.
-Plant a tree.
-Separate the organic and inorganic trash.
-Do not use products that damage the ozone layer.

These are just a few tips. Do you know some others?

Mi primer bebé

Hola!
En esta ocasión les quiero mostrar este proyecto en el que trabajé por un año. Se trata de un libro para niños llamado "Azul Mariposa" que yo misma escribí e ilustré.

Un día desperté y decidí escribir una idea que tenía en mente. Y así, lo que comenzó como un hobby, terminó en esto, bueno, no ha terminado porque me gustaría mucho publicarlo, que es el siguiente paso.

Así que aquí están las imágenes, las primeras son de algunas de las ilustraciones, realizadas con acuarela y prismacolor. Las siguientes son del libro impreso.

Mi first baby!

Hello!
This time i want to show you this project, i worked on it for a year. It´s a children´s book called "Azul Mariposa" (Azul Butterfly), i wrote it and illustrated it.

One day, i woke up and decided to wrote this idea in my mind. So, the idea that started as a hobby, ended like this, well, i want to publish it, but that is the next step.

So, here are the images, the first ones are some of the illustrations, made with watercolor and prismacolor. The next ones are of the book.

Es hora de preparar las ofrendas y recordar a todos los que se han ido.

Hi! Today es November 1st, Day of the Dead!
Its time to prepare the "ofendas", like altars with sugar skulls, candles, marigolds and the favorite food of friends and familie who have died.

Llegó el otoño!

Hola!
Regresando al blog después de unos problemillas con el escáner...
Pero bueno, ya entramos de lleno al otoño y aquí les dejo a Sofía! Preparada para salir a jugar en esta temporada que nos gusta tanto.

Por ahora los dejo con esto. Mientras tanto, he estado experimentando con papeles diferentes y nuevas técnicas. Les iré mostrando los proyectos poco a poco, espero que les gusten!

Autumn is here!!

Hello! I´m back after some issues with the scanner... :P
But autumn is here! So here ir Sofía, she is so ready for this season.

Oh, I want to tell you that I´ve been trying different papers and techniques, I´m going to show them soon. Hope you like it!

Hadas!

En esta ocasión les muestro unos dibujos sobre hadas, que es algo que me encanta!!! Yo creo que por ahí, alrededor nuestro, podemos encontrar muchas hadas realizando diferentes funciones para que todo marche como debe.
También creo que, aquellos que como yo disfrutan de ilustrar, siempre están acompañados por un hada, justo aquella que hace que el hámster en nuestra cabeza corra en la dirección correcta jajajajaja

Las ilustraciones están realizadas en prismacolor; las primeras tres fueron pensadas para un libro corto para niños y la pequeña y última, que está de espaldas fue pensada para mural. Es justo para decorar una pared de un cuarto de una niña!

Espero que les gusten y como siempre, aprecio mucho sus comentarios.

Fairies!!! I want to show you some illustrations about fairies, I just love them!!! I think that around us, we can found a fairy making her job, just to keep the things as they are suppose to be.
I also believe that those who enjoy to illustrate, are always accompanied by fairies, she or he says to our head´s hamster where to run. LOL

The illustrations where made with prismacolor, the first three where made for a short children´s book, and the last one for a wall, for a girl room!!
